Field Trip and service Projects
Parkview Youth of all ages are greatly encouraged to both enjoy and serve our community.
The joy of loading up a group children in the church van and traveling to a swimming pool, a zoo, or whatever is intense! One of the greatest ways to discover God is just to pack up and go.
In the community, it is our goal to be a servant.
Church Camp
We go to church camp at Camp Sooner in Pink, Oklahoma. The people are incredible, the ministry mind set is exceptional, and the facilities / grounds are ideal for a controlled outdoors feel that is both safe and rustic. The camp is staffed and sponsored by people with a heart for youth. Children of all ages look forward to this event every year.
Typically, the age / camp week model is:
9th – 12th Grade - 6 days 5 nights
7th – 8th Grade - 6 Days 5 Nights
5th – 6th Grade - 5 Days 4 Nights
3rd – 4th Grade - 3 Days 2 Nights
1st – 2nd Grade - 2 Days 1 Night
Please follow the Camp Sooner link for more information.
Sugar Rush
Sugar Rush is a function that we provide to the community in October near Halloween in order to provide more fun, candy, food, opportunities to wear halloween costumes, and, most importantly, the Christian message, both through fellowship and also through a message.
The event is both free and awesome. Keep an eye out in September for advertisements for this year’s Sugar Rush!
Acquire The Fire
Acquire the Fire is an event that the Jr. / Sr. High Youth Group attends every year. At this event, incredible speakers such as Ron Luce and Mike Gizzardo join up with musicians like Skillet, Pillar, and more to provide an energy building and life altering experience that lasts.
Typically, the youth attend in Tulsa for this 3 day excursion. They experience impactful messages, awesome praise and worship, concerts, dramas, great food and just the regular fun they have with friends
Christmas Play
Every year, the children and students perform a play that reminds us of the reason we celebrate Christmas. At that time, the lights go out, the stage is set and the production is always elaborate and well performed. It is truly a spectacle to behold.
